SPAT's stage is set

AFTER a number of false starts and some real-life drama, Stanwell Parks Arts Theatre (SPAT) is ready to launch its latest production, Kindly Leave the Stage.

A talented and enthusiastic cast under the direction of Mat Palmer has been rehearsing for months but it has not been without its ups and downs. Rupert and Sarah's marriage is on the rocks and their friends, Charles and Madge, have become deeply involved.
Just how far will they go to help their closest friends in their deepest hour of need?

The show opens on Friday, August 12, at 7.30pm in the CWA Hall, The Drive, Stanwell Park, with cheese and nibblies. Mulled warm wine (Gluhwein) will be served at every performance to help chase away the winter chills.

Kindly Leave the Stage will also be performed on Saturday, August 13, Friday, August 19, and Friday, August 26, all starting at 7.30pm with a matinee on Sunday, August 21, at 3pm. The show is rated M and has adult themes and some coarse language (but not too much!).

Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for students and concessions. Bookings can be made on 4294 4060. For more information, visit www.spat.org.au
