It IS all about you!
Quality not quantity: Rob Edwards
MOTIVATIONAL speaker and Stop CSG chairman Rob Edwards believes it’s the little things in life that make a difference.
The director of The Health Presenter, who is engaged by corporations across Australia to promote the well-being of staff, said it was important to take time to consider what value small changes could contribute to a person’s life.
“Without a great deal of effort, people can achieve good returns and improve their quality of life,” he said. “This builds momentum and they find they can climb bigger mountains.”
Mr Edwards will hold two ‘Live Well – Be Your Best’ seminars in Thirroul in the next week. The Tuesday, February 7, session is booked out and the second, this Sunday, February 5, from 2-3.30pm is filling fast.
The seminars, which Mr Edwards describes as a kickstart to the new year, will be held at the Railway Hall and are a fundraiser for the Stop-CSG campaign.
“People are re-evaluating how to quantify quality of life,” he said. “Whether that’s well-being, health, the environment or parenting.”
Mr Edwards uses a lot of humour in his presentation and simple, real-life examples to convey his message.
He claims thousands who have attended his seminars have “more energy, are less stressed, are fitter, leaner, have less back pain and some have even detected cancers early with life-saving results”.
“They are simply more effective and getting more out of life,” he said.
However the seminar was not the “rah-rah” type but about motivation, decision-making and tools for achieving goals.
